Frank Carroll, the 2022 Grand Marshal of the 39th Annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade, is pictured in the Knights of Columbus social room, holding balloons presented by members of the Parade Committee. Members of Knights of Columbus, Immaculata Council #900, were there to cheer him on!
The 39th Annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade will begin at 12 Noon Thursday March 17th in Downtown Leavenworth. Participants and spectators are encouraged to wear a mask, and stay within your own group. And again, a reminder that NO CANDY may be handed out along the Parade route per new rules of the City of Leavenworth.
No ALCOHOL is permitted in the parade. Drinking or drunk drivers will NOT be tolerated. Leavenworth PD has told us they INTEND TO WALK THE LANES OF THE PARADE LINEUP to REMIND folks of these rules. City, County and State laws WILL be enforced for those in violation.
We realize this IS a "festive day" for the Irish at heart, but P-L-E-A-S-E remember these simple rules and also REMIND fellow participants of the same. OPEN CONTAINER VIOLATIONS CARRY A FINE IN EXCESS OF $200, so DON'T ruin your day or jeopardize your State driving privileges by violating these two or ANY of the previously agreed upon rules.
Looking forward to seeing you March 17th in the 39th Annual Parade!!
